On behalf of Gardiner Smith Laboratories we are very pleased to announce our acquisition of Animal Reference Pathology, a division of ARUP Laboratories at the University of Utah. We are committed to the very highest level of integrity, technology and science that ARUP has provided; at the same time, we plan to increase the range of services, timeliness, and staff accessibility to meet the expanding and increasingly specialized needs of our veterinary and research clients.
The name, Animal Reference Pathology, stays the same and our headquarters will stay in the Salt Lake area. We are happy to report that many of the Animal Reference Pathology staff, including Dr. Lawrence McGill who will serve as Medical Director, and Dr. Sharon Wilson, will remain with us. We have significantly strengthened our business management division under the expertise of our President and Chief Operating Officer Everett Smith, and plan to update both facilities and equipment. Brief profiles of our senior staff members with their contact information are available here.
We are excited to have the opportunity to build upon the legacy that Dr. McGill and Dr. D. Glen Esplin (Dr. Esplin has now retired after 29 years of outstanding service) and others have built. Our entire staff is dedicated to being the leader in veterinary pathology and laboratory testing ensuring quality, accuracy, expertise, competitive pricing, and fast turn-around time.
Everett and I would be genuinely pleased to hear from you if you have questions and/or suggestions that we might address as we build our new company. We will be updating our new website continually as the transition progresses. We would be honored to retain you as a client, to hear from you personally, and look forward to exceeding your expectations.
